2025 My year of Self Care

This year I decided I need to practice what I preach and as self-care is a fundamental part of everyone’s personal stress management, I have set myself a personal goal to invest and commit in my own self care. Every month I will be choosing a popular method to focus on. Some will be things I do or have done in the past but want to commit to doing more of; and some will be completely out of my comfort zone!
My primary aim is to find some new self-care methods that will become part of my regular routine. During this time, I will be sharing my findings with you all and hopefully inspiring you to prioritise yourself this year as well.

You will learn, what I enjoyed about my chosen self-care method. Tips and recommendations on how you can get involved and also, if I didn’t enjoy it and why! I will be choosing some things that I wouldn’t typically do to help me unwind, but that I know work for other people. Baking for example, my daughter loves to bake but it has never been something I do to relax. I’m looking forward to challenging myself. That month may be a disaster (keep an eye on our socials for some potentially dodgy DIY cakes!) or who knows, I may be the new Mary Berry!!
January is my first self-care month and I have chosen to focus on Yoga. It is something that I have some experience of and I know that generally I enjoy (I wanted to start off gently!). However, I will be pushing myself to fully embrace Yoga for the month and to understand what I enjoy about it and why. What would be your first self-care choice? What would you like to embrace more? Let us know in the comments as we would also love some more ideas for the rest of the year!

Let’s make 2025 the year that we all decide to invest in our own wellbeing. Whether it be by practicing Yoga more regularly or making the commitment to invest in yourself with some individual coaching. This time next year you could be in a completely different place, but it can depend on the amount of work you invest into yourself this year.
